Avoid Rash & Negligible Driving ...

Image
The cases of rash and negligible driving in Goa, has become a common issue over the years. The frequent cases of drinking and driving and the usage of mobile phones while driving poses a risk to the lives of both, the drivers as well as the pedestrians and fellow drivers. Today, many of our young drivers are seen crossing a given speed limit as well as driving or riding without valid licenses thus being a huge threat to the pedestrians. Recent statistics shows that, a total of 150 persons died in Goa by road accidents from January – June 2012, most of which were victims of rash driving. In a recent incident in Cortalim a woman and her husband were succumbed to injuries due to the negligence of a bus driver, who went on the wrong side of the road. In another incident, reported at Porvorim in order to save a lady who was crossing the road, a boy who was in fast speed on his two wheeler, banged the divider and died on the spot. I suggest, the police must be much more frequent

After being diagnosed for a rare germ cell Cancer, very few had ever thought cricketer Yuvraj Singh will actually bounce back... But he did… And he bounced back, just like a fighter... In his comeback match against New Zealand, there was this big hype about, “Is Yuvraj Singh fit enough to play again for India?” A lot of speculations were made, and he answered them all by playing a fabulous knock which included two sixes as well. However, India was unlucky to lose the match by just one run. Indian cricket fans were not that disappointed because they seen the “Man of the series of the World Cup” playing well in this match. This performance of his has definitely bought hopes that in the upcoming matches of India. Yuvi will definately make us proud. Hoping to see Yuvi back in the same way how he played for 2007 World Cup T20.
